Our mission
Healthcare information is, for most of human history, the privilege of the few. Even today, access depends heavily on where you live, which language you speak, whether you can afford a private consult, and how much spare time you have on a weekday morning. MedSage was built on the belief that anyone, anywhere, in any of seven languages, should be able to understand what their body is telling them — and what to do next.
We use an advanced multimodal AI model to read symptom descriptions and medical images. We wrap that capability in carefully designed prompts, structured outputs, and a conservative safety frame so that the AI consistently behaves like a well-read friend pointing you toward the right professional — not like a know-it-all pretending to be a doctor.
How it works
- 1
You describe. Type symptoms in your own words or upload a photo. Add optional context (age, sex, duration) for better accuracy.
- 2
Our AI analyzes. The model returns a ranked list of possible conditions, an urgency level, red flags to watch for, and actionable next steps — all in the language you chose.
- 3
You decide. The output is structured for action: when to rest at home, when to see your GP, when to go to urgent care, and what to ask once you're there.

Why "MedSage"?
A sage is someone who shares wisdom calmly and only when asked. We wanted a name that evokes a knowledgeable, unhurried companion — not a flashing emergency app. The earthy palette and unhurried tone are deliberate.
What we believe
Care before cleverness
Health tech should reduce anxiety, not manufacture it. Every response is framed conservatively and points toward professional care when in doubt.
Language is access
We support seven languages and full RTL because information about your body should be available in the language you actually think in.
Privacy by default
You can use MedSage anonymously without an account. When you sign up, your history is yours — never sold, never shared.
Honest about limits
We are not a doctor. We never claim to be. Every output includes a clear disclaimer and a path toward professional evaluation.
MedSage is a small, independent team of engineers and clinically-informed product people. We are not a medical practice, hospital, or insurer. Our editorial guidance is reviewed internally and we explicitly state when content is AI-generated. We welcome corrections and suggestions — please use the contact page to reach us.
